Baby Trend Expedition Jogging
Stroller
Budget friendly... and it's really about your expectations
If you're a parent that is looking for a decent (emphasis on decent) jogging stroller that fits within a more
moderate budget, the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller may just be that viable option for you.
As with most any manufactured product you get what you pay for and the Expedition Jogging Stroller is no
exception.
It's not the highest-of-end type of jogging stroller that is on the market these days, but for the price point,
you shouldn't have that expectation either.
All in all if you happen to take your jogging or running seriously, then this budget friendly stroller won't
measure up to your expectations of a true jogging stroller and you would be better served to step up to plate with
your money and get a higher end jogging stroller.
But with this bit of a budgeting caveat in mind; if you want a good stroller at an affordable price, then the
Baby Trend Expedition may just fit your bill.
Throughout the site and about the products, we stress talking about just how you are going to use your stroller
and what type of priorities you have for one.
If it is a true jogging stroller that you want... because you actually do jog and/or run... and getting around
in crowded malls isn't your focus, then you may want to consider a higher end model. But again, it's not the
stroller picking you out of the crowd it's up to you to match the stroller to your lifestyle. Even though we make
every attempt to keep this clear no matter what type of stroller, there are parents that still don't grasp this
concept and end up unhappy with their purchase.
Here at JoggerBabyStroller our focus and our namesake is on jogger strollers. We feel that any 'true jogging'
stroller really should have a fixed front wheel. But, flexible functionality is something that a great many people
have in mind when they are considering a 'jogging' stroller so we try to keep this in mind as we evaluate all the
review material.
So where are we on this one???
With our experience and as is the case with so many... moderate to lower priced items... although friendly to
your budget they will get a wide... and we mean wide range of ratings and comments. But before we look over
what the consensus of the folks is, let's take a look at the features and stats.

Price is invariably on a mind when you find yourself considering locating a feeling of balance relating to a
good value and paying too much. Nowadays web availability tends to make price tag hunting and finding the right
price along with the best product easier than it has been in past times.
Do keep in mind however, like most any type of a manufactured product; it'll give you
what you pay for.
This doesn't mean that you got to head out and invest in excess of $400 bucks for a
baby jogging stroller, however, without question, there is
certainly going to be a difference in level of quality between a $100 stroller and a $400 one... and you
have to keep this in mind as you temper your expectation level... true jogging, running, and
all-terrain strollers are going to cost significantly more than basic
multi-functionality ones.
That being said, the converse is true as well... if you're more of a walker than a runner or jogger and place a
higher value on maneuverability, then why over-spend your lifestyle.
What are the folks saying...
When it comes to products such as jogging strollers expectations just like babies come in all different shapes
and sizes. Parents also come in all types of when it comes to what features and functionalities are the
most important to them and what they use their strollers the most for... and the Baby Trend Expedition triggered
responses all across the board.
However, if you read between the lines of the comments below, you'll see just what we've been talking about here
in so much that the price point and what you use the stroller for is a big consideration.
So, let's take a look at what the folks are generally saying across the board about the
Baby Trend Expedition.
The following comments are general representation of the various reviews of the research that we conducted
and an average of the overall customer rankings that we studied across a large number of available
offerings.

Good stroller for the price.
Even though this was possibly the most economical baby jogger stroller we came across ($99 at the
time), it's a pretty decent stroller all in all.
It's got most of the features of higher priced joggers. The primary distinction I think is the
higher-end strollers are a lighter metal which makes them simpler to put in and out of your
vehicle. Our lone issue with the Expedition is it can be a touch weighty and clumsy to lift... but
not a bother enough to spend another couple hundred on a lighter, higher end stroller.

It just didn't work.
This particular baby stroller is simple to move around, it reclines nicely, has a reasonable
storage rack and child tray and storage basket.
But the really bad news is the crappy front wheel. After owning this stroller for a relatively
short time the front wheel started to uncontrollably shake. Even though I tightened the bolt that
holds it on less than a week later the bearings went completely out...

Great if you know what you need it for.
If perhaps you are looking at strictly a walking or at most a light jogging stroller, this would be
a wonderful baby stroller for your money.
However, if you happen to be a more serious runner or even longer distances, you may want to opt
for a true running or jogging stroller.

Affordable luxury!
This stroller has all the equipment and features that I need in a stroller and I didn't have to
bust my budget!

Couldn't be happier.
I bought this stroller about a year ago and I've gotten a tremendous amount of use out of it.
I'm not a power jogger or anything like that, I just wanted to get back in shape and with all the
walking that I do this stroller keeps up just fine... and for much less!

 |
Not so service so far.
I've seen a lot of the other positive reviews, but I somehow got a bad one. I have only had my
stroller a few months and the wheel fell off. I know that all products aren't perfect but when i
tried to contact Baby Trend and left messages, they wouldn't call me back. Just an isolated
incident... don't know, but just wanted all to know anyway.

Just hasn't held up very well
First of all... loved the stroller when we first got it. But after (not so many miles) the stroller
has began to feel really loose and it wobbles and shimmies. And this gets worse if I increase my
speed at all. It's a bit un-nerving not to mention it keeps my little one awake.

A good compromise between price and value.
This stroller isn't the best stroller out there, but for the money we spent on it, we like it
just fine. It's good stroller especially when you compare it to similar brands of similar price.
Sure for the price point you're not going to be getting the Cadillac of strollers, but for general
purposes this is a good stroller.

A great buy for the money! I looked over a whole bunch of reviews before
buying this stroller and really had only made up about half my mind, but I've been very pleased so
far. I don't really jog, but I do take the stroller across alot of uneven surfaces and have had no
problems. Overall it's been a great buy for me!

Wobbly
Having problems with wobbly wheels. I've tried to do 'fixes' that I've seen online but can't seem
to get the stroller to stop shaking... especially if I pick up the pace with it. May try to take it
back and see if I can get a replacement.

I wasn't sure at first.
Though I wasn't sure at first after taking the stroller out for a spin because as soon as
I began to jog just a little bit the stroller shook and felt unstable, but I soon found out
that if you lock the front wheel the stroller works just fine for the light jogs that I
take it on. And it just right for both me and my budget.

What Is Verdict On The Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller?
If you are in the market for a baby jogging stroller, then
you will have a lot of choices to make, from the type of front wheel you want (which is extrememely
important) to the many features that you will need.
Whether you plan on doing some hardcore jogging in the woods or you will be going for light strolls down paved
roads, having the right stroller is crucial.
The bottom line is that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller is one of the most popular strollers for
parents who plan to do a little bit of jogging, and for good reason.
What Does the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller Have?
This is a lightweight stroller, weighing in at only 29 pounds, and it is designed to hold up to a 40-pound
child. It has a canopy, a cup holder for the parent, and a cup holder for the child, which are accessories that you
won’t find on even some more expensive jogging strollers.
This has all-terrain bicycle tires, with 16” tires in the rear and a 12” tire on the front, which can be locked
in place. Ideally, you want a locked tire when you are jogging or running, and a swivel tire when you are shopping
or doing other things, and that is why the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller is so ideal for both.
This also has an extra wide wheel base so you will get more stability than a traditional stroller, which is
designed with your child’s safety in mind.

“This is easy to push and my child is comfortable on all terrain.”
- Catherine, FL
Full-Featured Stroller
When you buy jogging strollers, even some of the most expensive ones, you might be surprised by how lacking they
are in features or accessories. They are generally very stripped down so that they are lightweight and easy for you
to push while you are jogging or walking.
But the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller has all of the features that you would want from a traditional
stroller, including sufficient storage space for all of your important items, and cup holders, which is something
that you just won’t find on other strollers.

“I wanted a lightweight stroller that already had everything on it and am really pleased with this.”
- Patricia, NM
Is This the Stroller for You?
When it comes to jogging strollers, there are some that are built for heavy terrain and hardcore use, but this
isn’t one of them. This has smaller, bicycle tires, which means that you might want to stay out of the rough
stuff.
On the other hand, if you will be jogging down the street, on asphalt or concrete, or even on a dirt track, you
will find that this has the suspension and the tires to make the ride comfortable for both of you.
With the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller, what you do get is a full-featured jogging stroller that has
much of what you need already built in and is designed for both your comfort and most of all the comfort and safety
of your child.
Where Should You Buy the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging
Stroller?
There is plenty of competition online for your business for any type of product that you're looking at and that's a
good thing for us consumers.
Most parents find out fairly early that buying baby products in their local baby store is simply not
cost-effective. The prices are high, and especially when you are buying a big ticket item like a stroller, you want
to make sure that you get the best price possible.
A great place to buy the Baby Trend Expedition Jogging Stroller is on Amazon.com,
where you will not only get a discount, but you will also be eligible for free returns if you find out that it’s
not to your liking.
Plus... all in all Amazon does a very good job at keeping their fingers on the
pulse of the pricing around the marketplace and we find they most often offer the most competitive pricing.
Depending upon the product and the details you can many times take advantage of free shipping that Amazon offers
along with picking up any other matching accessories that you may need along the way.
Plus, along with all the details and descriptions of the product they offer a good forum for actual users to
rate the stroller.
